The Toy Room

The first thing I did was to AVOID the worst room in the house (the craft room)! The kids had been home for Christmas break for the past 12 days playing with new toys. It was time to find them a home and to maybe find a new home for some of the old toys as well.

Part of our Christmas tradition is to fill a box with toys in November to send to DI. It makes it easier for the kids to give away toys when the know that they are going to some other boy or girl to love because they won't get much for Christmas. Since that had been done we mostly had to make everything fit.

I had DH and the kids working with me on this. It did take a couple of hours (I think we used bribery to keep them working) but when we were done every toy had a home and all the pieces were in the right place. It won't last, but at least I have some awesome pictures to show you that it was clean at one time!
